A college freshman went on a stabbing rampage on a Northern California college campus after being kicked out of a study group, police said.
The Merced County Sheriff's Department said it found the document written by 18-year-old Faisal Mohammad discussing his ejection from the study group at the University of California, Merced during an autopsy Thursday. Police shot and killed Mohammad Wednesday morning after he stabbed two students and two others during a morning rampage on campus.
Sheriff Verne Warnke said the document contained names of students he sought to harm and other violent musings.
Warnke said Mohammad made several references to the Muslim god Allah, but he doesn't believe the violence Wednesday was connected to religion or terrorism. Warnke said Mohammed had detailed plans to wreak havoc but had little means to carry out his violent plan.
